Buffalo, Texas

Okay, Okay.... so maybe this is just the RV park we are staying at. Then again, the town and its surroundings do look like the park. LOL.  My car has been dead since we got here so I have not been able to go out exploring, and then today I realized, that I could get perfectly fine pictures just from walking around the park... so that is exactly what I did in my pj's while doing laundry :)

I wish the sun had been out when I took this one.. it is GOLDEN.

The kitty cat that hangs out around the RV park.

I thought it looked cute... it is all by itself.

Part of the RV park we are staying at.

Propane = Life
no propane = no shower, no heat. yikes

Yearly Photo Checklists

How freaking cool is that? I found these checklists on PINTEREST. (I am in love with that site)I am so going to start following these. I obviously wont get all the shots listed, but I have already thought of a couple I could do in place of some. This will definitely help keep me busy taking pictures throughout the year :) Especially since I plan on trying project 365 again in January.

They are pretty small, you may have to use the link above to see them bigger :)

Baby it's cold outside...

Today Keith and I got our yearly pictures taken. We froze to death, I think it was about 45 degrees outside when we finally made it out. I was really nervous about having my dad take the pictures for me, but he did an awesome job, I could not have asked for more! I love that we started this tradition a couple years ago. It will be so much fun to look back over the years and see how much our little family has changed!!

Our very first year together in 2008, before we moved in together with Sugar. We were still too new of a couple to have pictures done, but I think this one is fine, it was still taken in December :)
Our Second Christmas together, the first Christmas we lived together, and we had Sugar baby!

Last Christmas, two of my nieces were living with me at the time. Sugar was not able to make the trip with us for pictures, so I poorly edited her in. I know how to do it right, just didnt want to take the time to do it. LOL

And now this Christmas, it is just Keith, Sugar and I again. But this time we are in Texas!!

Thanksgiving & the Camper!

I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving. This year it was just, my parents, Keith and I. It wasn't bad. We went out to eat, got back and the guys started working on fixing the major damage in the camper.

Keith and I on Thanksgiving :)

Here's the tour I promised of the RV.

I cant wait to get in there and get things updated but first we have to fix the water damage on the front corner... They are almost done, hopefully finishing up tomorrow and then we will be able to start on the updating on the inside!!! :)

and on a little side note, I found the cutest, tiniest little boutique where I found a gorgeous purse and a really cute bible cover.

Home sweet... Camper?

We found an RV. Since we will be doing so much traveling over the next couple years it just seemed like the best route for us to go. It is a 2001, 25' or 26' fifth wheel and it is a fixer upper. Our poor camper had some minor damage to the front corner and needs some updating throughout. I will have some better pictures later on but here is the back of it. (Couldn't get to the front at the time.)

Some of my top of the list plans for the inside are to change out the velvet blue couch and dinette covers, fix the table, rip out the blue carpet, recover the valances and change out the brass knobs. I think that will make a world of difference. :)

Feeling Chlosterphobic :(

Chlosterphobic.. I wonder if I spelled that right? Oh well.  So as you may or may not know, we have been staying with my parents in their camper... .. .. along with my brother and 3 dogs. Its tight, very tight. Normally I can deal with close quarters, but this is a little much. I have no where to do anything, which is driving me nuts. All I have is my moms computer. period. that is IT. (hence the *massive* amount of time I have been spending on Pinterest) Anywho, I like having somewhere to put my things.. ESPECIALLY my clothes. I like being able to see what I have so I can put together an outfit. Unfortunately this is what I am dealing with when it comes to the storing of my clothes :'(

now, believe it or not there is a method to the above madness.... not one that I like but it is the easiest given the space that I have to work with.  I know I should be thankful that we got to have the bedroom. ( my brother is stuck with putting his stuff on a chair and sleeping on the couch.) But hello, I have alot of clothes and said clothes need a place to be HUNG not sitting on the ground getting wrinkled :(

Keith and I had bought an RV but the deal fell through. The guy decided he didnt want to sell anymore.. ugh. So now we are on the look again and have not found anything in our price range :( Not sure how much longer I can deal with my clothes being on the floor though... so hopefully we can find something soon.

Sugar has not been dealing all that well with this move, she is confused and really hates the fact that there are two other dogs in the house with us. Best believe anytime we try to play with or love on one of the other dogs, Sugar is in our laps trying her best to get inbetween.. poor spoiled baby.

and me... going crazy. Ignore the smudged eye makeup.. :)

Texasss!

So we are here, safe and sound and we are adjusting to this new life style. We are in the process of looking for an RV to buy, the one we were going to buy fell through :( oh well, were looking bigger now :) Keith is liking Texas more than he thought he would, he gets excited every time he sees deer playing in the fields as we drive here and there.

My younger brother left Corpus Christie and is now here in Buffalo with the rest of us. He and Keith are bonding :) Yay, I must say I am very happy that the two of them are getting along. Of course we are all in tight quarters, 5 people and 3 dogs in a 36' RV is well, an experience... Keith, Sugar and I are lucky... we got the bedroom :)  My dad bought a grill and marc and Keith got out there and attempted to put it together. Naturally they did not read the directions and put the legs on backwards...

And then there was the great debate over were to set up the XBOX.... in the back of the SUV of course...!!

Kianirose!

My newest little neice was welcomed to the world on October 28... Kianirose was born in Arizona, the first of my neices in a longggg time that I didnt get to be there. Hopefully it will not be long before I get to meet her! Here she is with three of her very proud big sisters, Claire, Chrissy and Keli!

Headed to Texas!

Our trip to Texas was pretty easy, we left way to late on halloween, it was quite a show we put on for all the trick or treaters trying to get my car onto the tow dolley. HA! and they kept thinking we were giving out candy, we felt so bad that we went as fast as we could trying to get out on the road! We  drove til 3am and still didnt make it out of Florida. Our drive the next day felt like it took forever but went smoothly. I tried to get a picture of ever "welcome to" signs but missed the Texas sign because of the stupid sun. :( We got all the way to Buffalo and decided to stop at the gas station before driving the remaining mile down the road to my parents camper... as we were getting gas Sugar was bouncing around on the inside and stepped on the lock and locked us out of the car!! we spent a couple of hours, and $75 dollars and finally was able to make it the last mile of our trip :)
