I love documenting major events with photography. I am so glad we were able to get together with Rae Vision Photography to have these done. I love them and I am so happy I will be able to show them to this baby one day :) We have been excited for his/her arrival since the day we found out for sure!!!!

Guess What?! & Happy Halloween!!
YAY!!! Finally!!! :)
I have been very quiet over here on the blog because, well I don't have much to talk about besides, my much anticipated little baby!! I wanted to keep it under wraps until we got to the 2nd trimester, which we didn't quite make it to, but pretty close!!! :) I actually found out just two days after my last post!!
I had been trying to convince myself that I wasn't that, it would be just another negative test. Once I failed to convince myself, I started texting my best friend back in FL and tried to convince her that I wasn't... then, she told me to take a test.. right then. so I did. and it was positive.. one of the best days of my life so far!!! :)
I hope everyone has a great Halloween, I know I did getting to announce the best news of my life!
xoxo Jamie

Entry Hall {Decorating a Rental}
Hello!!! I am still here!!! Most likely I will start to use my blog much more, now that I have pretty much done away with Facebook. So I look forward to becoming re-acquainted with my blog again :)
Anywho, this will probably be my last decorating post for awhile. Keith's job is coming to an end, which means our time in this rental is coming to an end. As of right now we have no idea where we may end up. With that said, I decided to halt decorating until I have a new place to decorate!!!
The entry hall pretty much had nothing in it aside from this sad little collage of family photos on the wall -

Sorry, I do not have a very good "before" photo. :(
This is what the entry looks like now!!!

It is a very tiny space and the lighting in this spot is horrendous so I did not get many photos of this tiny little area. The chevron B was actually a craft item that I added scrapbook paper too. The white frames were originally black that I spray painted white and were used as decor at my wedding. The Bragg canvas, was a printable that I added to a canvas :) Now, for those interested, here is where everything is from:
Teal cabinet - Target
Small globe - Homegoods
Yellow peacock - Garden Ridge
Yellow lantern - Homegoods
Keys & Change plate - Hobby Lobby
Turquoise cross - Hobby Lobby
All of the B's - Hobby Lobby
Count your blessings canvas - Hobby Lobby
Matted frame - Hobby lobby
all other frames - Deals
Bragg Canvas - Home, James(etsy)
Thank you for stopping by!

Front Porch {Decorating A Rental}
Currently we are in a tiny apartment in amazing San Antonio, TX. The complex is pretty open about how we decorate the exterior. Have to say this is the first time that I have lived in an apartment that is THIS open about it, but I sure am glad!!! My plans start with the front "porch" figured I would start at the front and work my way to the back :)
I got lucky and our door is a little "nook" like area.. :)
& if I could choose the paint myself..
& if I could choose the paint myself..
it would totally be a tan or yellow house.. with a turquoise door!
& the after.....
& the after.....
The big tan pot is actually two pots, I am sure every one has seen how to do that on
Pinterest by now.. if not you can see it HERE. The pots are from Target.
The pretty white one on the step is from Michaels :)
& the sign below came from HERE. However I purchased it off Jane.com, they come unfinished so you can decorate them however you want!
The lantern above was something I found at Ross, its actually a candle holder that I
just stuck a pretty little plant inside of.
I made the No Soliciting sign for about $2. Got the little plaque and dowel at Michaels
spray painted and used stickers I already had :) The silver flower pot is from Hobby Lobby.
((I added the no soliciting sign because we have a BAD problem with them here))

& my awesome door mat is from Hobby Lobby, it was 50% off got it for $7!!
By the way, do you know how hard it is to find a NARROW door mat?
I got lucky and just happened to see this there one day while I was there for other stuff.
I hope you like my little "porch" I absolutely adore it! :)

Gee whiz!
I suck at blogging. However my FB is always kept up. I wonder if I vowed to focus on posting on the blog instead of FB if it would work... hmmm.. doubt it, but I suppose I could try? LOL Anyway. I finally got over whatever bug, or sinuses I had close to the end of January. I have been on the ball getting my Photography business back up and running. I've gotten the model end going, not so much the business part yet though. But I will get it finished :)
In January we had Keli's birthday, since they only live a couple hours away, they were actually able to come up and we had a little birthday afternoon with her! I can't believe she is eight years old. It seems unreal that that is eve possible.

& of course, Lillian made an awesome birthday video for Keli. So grateful for lillian and these videos she makes of the girls! :)
THEN...
The newest addition to the family made her arrival Feb 10th... Breelynn Faith!!!

Isn't she adorable?? I can't wait to see all her professional newborn photos :)
After that was Valentines day <3
Keith and I went out for the strangest dinner ever at Olive Garden, they brought our food at the same time as the salad, the dipping sauce for the breadsticks after, and our DRINKS after that. it was weird, but it was quick and allowed us to go to the movies to see Vampire Academy. Sooo good! Sad to hear it didn't do well :/ I thought it was awesome!

The day after Valentines day was Aby's birthday! I completely forgot to call her and I hope she forgives me for that, at least her birthday card was on time this year! lol
(I don't have a recent photo of her so, just gonna use this one for now)
& that brings us current I think.. :)

Let's be real, 2014
This new year was just Keith and I at home with the dogs. I have been sick for a week and was not feeling well enough to do anything. Maybe ringing in the new year just the two of us at home, calm and quiet was a good sign for the rest of the year. With that, I hope that all my family and friends have a fantastic 2014 :)

Happy Birthday Kailynn!
I seriously do not understand this whole concept of "time"
Why does it have to go by so quickly?
How on earth is this little baby already turning five?
Yet another birthday of hers I am missing. Makes me want to cry. I wish I was in a position that I could easily go to wherever my nieces and nephews are to celebrate such a special day. But I am not, so I celebrate from afar. & now since I can already feel tears fighting their way out of my eyes... Happy Birthday Kailynn. Five will be great. You are beautiful, talented and so wise for a little girl. Have fun being five and starting school, you will never know how much it hurts that I am not there to see you turn five. So happy that God chose me to be your Auntie :)
